Daily Diary--Intake and Activity Calendar

Every study and weight-loss program has recognized that dieters respond to the written word.

Writing down "what just went down" immediately leads to less snacks and sugars.  Portion control follows.  Don't be obsessive-compulsive with your diary.  We like simple abbreviations for portion sizes to be S M L and LR (small, medium, large, and larger/ or later regrets). 

    Don't obsess, you can carry the diary with you, or do entries each evening, our abbreviations are simply suggestions, and by listing specific snacks or sugars will really help eliminate them. Many of our patients have been slimmer for over ten years by simply replacing snacks and sugars. We address the major problem areas-the general total meal sizes for the day, general activity, and specific snacks or sugars that day.
 

 Total meal sizes  Use simple abbreviations for portion sizes OR general meal size to be  Small  Medium Large  and LR (larger/ or later regrets). List the specific snacks!!!  and specific snacks!
The general rule is to
have more frequent smaller meals and 6-8 glasses of water or small calories fluids a day,
We like higher protein, lower carbs (sugars), better selections of fats, and salads are good.   Activities can  be... happy = H above usual by type or minutes  
    Unhappy= UHap  
    Disappointing= D   Dismal, can't remember even walking extra,   
  Specific Snacks or Sugars   it's best to name each snack.
